Fellow Stagg EKG vs. Bonavita Variable Temperature Gooseneck Kettle

Fellow products just released their new Stagg EKG kettle and we want to share how it stacks up against the Bonavita Variable Temperature Gooseneck Kettle.

Lets start with the EKG! The Stagg EKG kettle from Fellow products boasts some awesome features. It's has variable temperature control in single digit increments from 135° to 212° all shown on an awesome LCD display. The display will show your set temperature and real time temperature to help you track progress. It also has a brew timer to help with your pours. Another awesome feature is the hold mode. The hold mode will keep you at your target temperature for up to 60 mins! Another nifty feature is the ability to set the EKG temperature from Fahrenheit to Celsius. The Kettle itself has a counter balanced handle to help control your pours and has a 0.9 liter capacity. The EKG is an aesthetically pleasing and functional tool for your everyday pour over needs.

Bonavita Gooseneck Kettle

The Bonavita Variable Temp has been a favorite among coffee lovers. It features variable temperature control that can be adjusted in single digit increments from 140° to 212°. The kettle also has a brew timer function to help you with your pour over. Just as the EKG it also has a 60 min hold function. The kettle itself has an awesome gooseneck which makes it extremely easy to control your pour. The kettle has a 1.0 liter capacity which should be plenty for brewing up a few cups.

So what's the pick? If you want all the features in a simple design the Bonavita is definitely a great option. If you want the extra perk with some aesthetically pleasing features the EKG is definitely the one to go with. Whichever one you decide to go with you can't go wrong with either one.
